How to Duplicate 2018+ JLR Keys with YANHUA MINI ACDP Module 47?

The YANHUA MINI ACDP with the new Module 47 can duplicate 2018+ JLR keys without removing the RFA. The procedure uses an ID-changeable aftermarket/universal key and the BAV-KEY adapter.


Connect and Identify the Vehicle

1. Connect the MINI ACDP to the vehicle OBDII port and use the standard ACDP power adapter (12V, ≥2.5A). Turn on the ignition so the instrument cluster lights up.

2. Open the ACDP APP and confirm the programmer is bound. Go to JLR >> ICP+OBD Duplicate key without removing RFA(2018-) >> OBD Identify Car Info.

3. Verify the original vehicle information, save a screenshot, and click Continue. Confirm that UWB, PE, and PS are turned off and that the key supports copying.

Identify the Original and Universal Keys

1. Select BAV identify key info >> Help >> OK. Connect the BAV-KEY adapter to the MINI ACDP and place the sensing area of the original key correctly on the adapter.

2. Verify the original key ID and chip model. Confirm that it is an OEM key, save a screenshot, and continue until the key information is read.

3. Place the new key on the BAV-KEY adapter and select BAV identify key info. Click OK >> Continue, then confirm that the key is an ID-changeable universal key.

Read the Original Key Data

1. Disassemble the original key and select the correct option according to the chip marked on the key or identified by the system. For an NCF29A4V key, select ICP+OBD program key >> Step1. ICP read original key >> Help.

2. Connect the key to the interface board and MINI ACDP correctly. Click OK >> Continue and confirm the original key information.

3. Wait for the key data to be read, then click OK to save it. Confirm that the backup file is saved successfully.

Make the Dealer Key

1. Select Step2. Make dealer key >> OBD+BAV make universal key>>Help, read the precautions, and place the ID-changeable key on the BAV-KEY adapter.

2. Verify the original vehicle information, connect the MINI ACDP to the BAV-KEY adapter, and place the universal key correctly on it. Verify the key information, select the original key data, and confirm the identified IMMO information.

3. Select Lost Key Channel 1 for duplication. The grayed-out channel is reserved for the working key and cannot be selected. Click Continue and wait for Make dealer key to finish. Do not disconnect or unplug the equipment during programming.


UWB must be disabled for this cloning function. If UWB is enabled, the cloned key only supports remote control and emergency start; Comfort Access and Keyless Start are not supported.

Verification

Reassemble the original key, then check both the original and newly copied keys in the vehicle. Confirm that the vehicle starts and the basic key functions work normally.

Fix YANHUA ACDP Module 2 FEM "Operation Timeout, Retry" Error

Issue & Fix: A YANHUA ACDP Module 2 stopped USB polling during FEM preprocessing and, after waiting about 20 minutes, displayed the error "Operation timeout, retry". To resolve the issue, first identify the FEM by OBD and check whether the recognized version and code are normal, then continue with the corresponding action.

How to Disassemble VW 5C Magotan Key Inner Shell Using Vtool

This guide shows how to use the YANHUA Vtool 5C/5D Key Cutting Kits to safely disassemble the VW 5C Magotan key inner shell.


Preparation

Before starting, prepare all the required dismantling tools from the kit.

Important: The induction coil inside the key is very sensitive. Be careful during the whole process and do not damage it.

Step 1: Remove the Screws

First, remove the two screws from the key shell.

This makes it easier to observe the cutting position during the disassembly process.


Step 2: Fix the Key in the Holder

Place the key into the holder.

Make sure the white side is facing toward you.

Tighten the holder firmly to secure the key.

Step 3: Cut the First Weld Seam

Tilt the blade slightly.

Align the blade edge with the weld seam on the upper-right corner.

Use a hammer to gently strike the blade and open the weld seam.

Continue cutting left along the weld seam.

Note:

There are support posts at each corner inside the shell.

Do not cut too deeply — a shallow cut is enough.

Once completed, the first side is finished.

Step 4: Cut the Vertical Side

Stand the key upright and secure it firmly.

Tilt the blade again and align it with the weld seam.

Continue cutting carefully along the seam.

After finishing this section, move to the opposite side.

Step 5: Cut the Other Side Carefully

When cutting near the induction coil area:

Do not cut too deep.

The blade depth should be close to the height of the black edge only.

Continue cutting to the left along the weld seam until this side is complete.

Step 6: Handle the Induction Coil Area

Finally, work on the weld seam near the induction coil.

Attention:

Do not cut beyond the black edge; the induction coil may be damaged.

Carefully continue cutting the weld seam.

Step 7: Pry Open the Back Cover

Use a prying tool to gently open the back cover.

Then remove the keyboard board from inside the shell.

How to Disassemble a VW 5C Folding Key Step by Step

In this guide, we will show you how to use the Yanhua Vtool 5C/5D Key Cutting Kits to safely disassemble a VW 5C folding key step by step.


The process is simple if you use the correct tools and follow the proper sequence.


Required Tools

Prepare the following tools from the Yanhua Vtool kit:

Internal snap ring pliers

Flathead screwdriver

T6 Torx screwdriver


Step 1: Open the Mechanical Key

First, flip out the mechanical key blade.

You will find a locking clip inside the key shell. Use the internal snap ring pliers to carefully pry open the locking clip.

Then open the surrounding section and remove the back cover.

Step 2: Remove the Battery and Screw

Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the battery.

Next, locate the internal screw and remove it with a T6 Torx screwdriver.

Step 3: Open the Side Cover

Insert a flathead screwdriver into the side gap at a 90 ° angle.

Carefully apply upward force with the screwdriver shaft to pry open the side cover.

Remove the shell completely.


Step 4: Remove the Keyboard

Use a flathead screwdriver to gently lift the keyboard section.
