Yanhua ACDP Module 36 BMW 3rd Generation 8HP Gearbox Clone

This is a tutorial on how to do a BMW 3rd generation 8HP gearbox clone with Yanhua Mini ACDP 2 + Module 36 by bench.


Power on the device, and open the Mini ACDP app.

Confirm the device has been bound.


BMW >> EGS >> 8HP_GEN3 Clone(ZF TC275/TC277)

Connect ACDP to the device properly according to the diagram in "Help".

Click "Identify".

Please use the ACDP standard power adapter(voltage+ 12v, current >= 2.5A).

Please connect ACDP with the gearbox.

Verify system info, click OK.

Identify chip info finish.


Full backup data >> OK >> Continue >> Continue

Reading chip data, please wait...

Please save chip data.

The backup file succeeded.


Connect another BMW 3rd generation 8HP gearbox, and prepare to write the original vehicle data.


Full write data >> OK >> Continue

Verify system info, click Continue.

Please select chip data 

(According to the date and time, choose the files ending with "Full".)

Don't turn off the power or unplug the device while writing data.

Yanhua ACDP Module 36: ZF-TC1782/TC275/TC277 Gearbox Clone

The New Yanhua Mini ACDP Module 36 is coming soon! It's designed for BMW, JLR, and Mercedes ZF-TC1782/TC275/TC277 gearbox clones and must work with the Mini ACDP-2 basic module.

Yanhua ACDP Module 37: MB HU6 IC177 Mileage Correction

New release! Yanhua ACDP Module 37 for MB HU6 instrument module(IC177) mileage correction has been launched. It supports adjusting mileage for the A167/A213/A247 module with chip model R7F01403. It needs to work with Mini ACDP2 together.

Toyota R7F701441 semi-LCD instrument mileage correction via ACDP

This post will show you how to do Toyota R7F701441 semi-LCD instrument mileage correction by using Yanhua Mini ACDP 2 and ACDP Module 35.


Please turn on the ignition to activate the instrument panel, record the original mileage, remove the instrument to disassemble it, and confirm that the chip model is RF7F01441.


Power on the ACDP, open the ACDP APP, and confirm in the upper right corner that the ACDP device has been bound.

Click "Module" >> "TOYOTA ODO" >> "Help", and refer to the connection diagram to connect the interface board to the device properly.

Click "R7F701441" >> "Identify Info"

Prompt: Please use the ACDP standard power adapter (voltage+ 12V, current >=2.5A).

Click "OK".

Prompt: Connect the ACDP, interface board, and instrument module.

Click "Continue".

Checking pin, then click "Continue".

Checking information, the display chip needs pre-processing, click "OK" to continue.

Identify chip info finish.

Click Pre-process chip.

Step 1: Backup data

Prompt: Please use the ACDP standard power adapter (voltage+ 12V, current >=2.5A).

Click "OK".

Prompt: Connect the ACDP, interface board, and instrument module.

Click "Continue".

Checking pin, then click "Continue".

Reading chip info...

Don't power off or unplug the device while reading chip data.

Reading chip date successfully, then click "OK" to save the chip data.

Read chip data finish.

Step 2. Decrypt chip

Prompt: Please use the ACDP standard power adapter (voltage+ 12V, current >=2.5A).

Click "OK".

Prompt: Connect the ACDP, interface board, and instrument module.

Click "Continue".

Reading chip info...

Don't power off or unplug the device while reading chip data.

Pre-process chip is finished, click "OK".


Return to the previous menu, and click "Reset mileage (auto mode).

The info display chip needs no preprocessing.

Save the original data of the instrument.

Verify instrument information and click "Continue".

Click on the mileage and enter the new mileage you want

Writing chip data, please wait...

Reset mileage finish.

Install the instrument panel in the car and check if the mileage displayed on it is normal.

Yanhua Module 35: Toyota R7F714xx/Buick NEC3558 ODO Correction

How to Disassemble VW MQB 5D Odometer?

This is a tutorial on disassembling the VW MQB 5D odometer. After that, we can install the Yanhua R7F701401/21-5D Interface Board to read and write data without soldering. By working with ACDP2 + Module 34, we can make data reading and writing safer for VW Golf 8, Teramont, Viloran, Tavendor, Lamando, Tiguan L, etc.


How to disassemble VW MQB 5D ODO?

Since the MQB5D odometer display and the housing are sealed with glue, you must be careful when disassembling them.


Based on these 3 buckle positions, determine the instrument's positive direction. To disassemble the instrument, it's recommended to use a sharp art knife.

1) Start from the lower left corner of the display.

2) Cut the sealant under and on both sides of the instrument.

3) Cut the sealant above the instrument.


Please Note: The below and on both sides.

 The blade should not be inserted more than 8mm deep to avoid scratching the inside of the odometer.

 When cutting the sealant, be careful not to tilt the blade upward.

 Do not pry the blade up and down.

 Be careful and slow when cutting.

When you're working on the top of the odometer, be careful of the wiring in the middle. So the blade should not be inserted more than 4mm deep at this position to avoid cutting the display cable.


After the sealant is cut, flip the display open. Place your fingers on the left and right grooves below. Remove the backlight panel and heat sink.

How to install Yanhua R7F701401/21-5D Interface board

This post will show you how to install the Yanhua R7F701401/21-5D Interface board.


Here are the steps:


1. Find the interface board installation area on the instrument according to the visual positioning mark on the interface board.

2. Then remove the corresponding two screws, and locate the D1-D4 positioning holes correctly on the instrument panel.

3. Align the interface board with the screw fastener holes and D1, D2 positioning points.

4. Press down on the interface board, tighten the locking screw, and the installation is finished.

5. Confirm again that the interface board D1, D2 positioning pins are completely aligned with the D1, D2 positioning holes of the instrument.
