Issue & Fix: When the YANHUA Mini ACDP 2 reports a "Clear ISN data error" while clearing the BMW 8HP E84 ISN via OBD, resolve the operation by activating Module 40 authorization and switching to the "8HP Reset EWS (E/F/G Chassis, bench)" function.
Technical Explanation
The OBD method is insufficient for this specific ISN clearing task, necessitating a direct bench connection to facilitate the reset.
We are pleased to announce an upgrade to the Yanhua Mini ACDP system: it now supports cloning for BMW G Series smart display keys. This enhancement expands your diagnostic and key programming capabilities, allowing you to serve a wider range of BMW vehicles.
Key Features of the Update:
1. New Compatibility:
Clone BMW G Series smart display keys (in addition to existing functions).
The cloning process is performed through the BMW BDC3 menu. A dedicated display key copy option will be introduced in upcoming software releases for even more streamlined operation.

Problem: When using the YANHUA Mini ACDP to program a 2016 BMW G12 750i for an all keys lost situation, the newly programmed key starts the engine, and the remote control works correctly. However, in the final step - synchronizing the EGS (Electronic Gearbox Control) and EWS (Immobilizer) - the tool shows an error:
The system and immobilizer information were read, but the process could not be completed.
Solution
This YANHUA ACDP error often occurs on BMW models with two engine control units. If the EGS password cannot be retrieved, it usually means the incorrect engine control unit data was read.
For BMW vehicles with two engines during an all keys lost procedure, you must read the EEPROM data from the main engine control unit, not the secondary one. Reading data from the wrong unit will result in a password read failure.
Ensure you identify and read the data from the correct ECU to complete the EGS/EWS synchronization.
A customer bought our ACDP 2 IMMO Locksmith Package, and today reported that the BAV KAY programmer for his ACDP is not working.
Problem:
It says to connect the BAV key reader when I plug in the key reader, it doesn't connect to the key reader, none of the light comes on the key reader, and it doesn't read the keys, everything else works fine with the ACDP device just not the key reader.
When I was trying to add a key to fem no lights and it said add key failed No lights on BAV were coming on.
Recently, a customer reported encountering a "DME Communication Error" while using ACDP for vehicle operations. The technician requested to send the BMW folder located in the ACDP software directory to diagnose the issue and assist in resolving it.
If you encounter a similar problem and need to send relevant folders to a technician, you can follow these steps:
1. Find the ACDP APP on your computer, right-click it and select "Open file location".
2. In the opened file, find "WebResource" >> "aliyun" >> "devfile" >> "formdev" >> "ATmatch" >> "BMW".
3. Compress the BMW folder and send it to a technician for analysis and troubleshooting.
Mini ACDP >> Confirm the device is connected >> BMW >> CAS1~4 >> CAS3/CAS3+ >> OBD mode >> IMMO >> Identify info
Please use the ACDP standard power adapter(voltage+12V, current >= 2.5A).
Ensure the vehicle has enough battery voltage and turn on the ignition.
The system status display is normal and it needs a downgrade.
Screenshot to save the device info, click OK.
Identify system info finish.
Step2. Downgrade Programming
Downgrade programming >> OK >> Continue >> Confirm the identified info is normal
Detected the system is CAS3++ version, requires downgrade programming to add the key. Programming is risky, it is strongly recommended to backup FLASH and EEPROM by ICP mode before downgrade programming!
About to start getting data from the server, please keep the network open during the process of getting data!
Prepare to program, and it will take about 10 minutes. Please keep the voltage no lower than 13.0V during the programming. Please try to turn on the ignition, then turn off the ignition and pull out the key, last step on the brake pedal twice. If it is a smart key, please take the key out of the car. Do not turn on the car nor turn on the ignition during programming!
Writing FLASH data, please wait...
Programming CAS finish.
Step3. Add Key
Add key(automatic mode) >> OK >> Continue >> System status is normal and it does not need to downgrade, Continue
Please save CAS data, and click "Continue".
Connect the ACDP with the BAV-key adapter.
Put the work key correctly on the BAV-key adapter.
Continue >> Continue
Select a blank key path: Key 6
Put the blank key correctly on the BAV-key adapter.
Is the current key a smart key? No
Please save CAS data, and click "Continue".
If have a work key, use the work key to open the ignition;
If all key lost, press the START button and press the brake pedal twice.
