This is a tutorial on how to do a BMW Version 082/083/085 Mileage Reset for BDC with YANHUA Mini ACDP 2 + Module 31 and Module 2.
The operation process is as follows:
1. Use the module 32 modification function to downgrade versions such as 082, 083, and 085 to version 081.
2. Remove the BDC for pre-treatment and mileage reset.
3. Then use the module 2 restore function to upgrade it back to the original version.
In this article, we're taking version 085 as an example.
As shown in the figure, connect the ACDP to the vehicle's OBDII port using an OBD extension cable or a DoIP adapter.
Turn on the car ignition to light up the instrument panel.
Step1. Downgrade Versions
Open Mini ACDP APP.
BMW >> FEM/BDC >> IMMO/Mileage >> BDC OBD(F Chassis) >> Detect vehicle info
Please use the ACDP standard power adapter (voltage+ 12V, current >=2.5A).
Connect ACDP with the vehicle OBDII port!
Please save the vehicle system data.
Check the mileage number and the system version info.
Here's taking 085.011.120 as an example.
Take a screenshot to save the vehicle info for subsequent restoration.
Restore >> Backup coding data >> OK
Please connect the ACDP device with FEM/BDC system accroding to the diagram in the help document.
Check the vehicle info, and click Continue.
Save coding data.
Backup coding data finished.
Program the FEM/BDC system >> DOIP programming/DCAN programming
If you use a DOIP adapter to connect to the OBD2 interface, click Method 1.
If you use an OBD to connect to the OBD2 interface, click Method 2.

About to start getting data from the server, please keep the network open during the process of getting data!
Will start programming FLASH data.
Please keep the voltage no less than 13.0V during programming.
Programming FLASH data is finished.

Step2. Remove BDC & Reset Mileage
Dismantle the BDC module from the vehicle.
IMMO/Mileage >> FEM/BDC(F Chassis) >> Reset mileage >> FEM/BDC initial programming process >> Automatic ICP programming
Connect ACDP to BDC according to the diagram in Help.
OK >> OK >> OK
Backup file succeeded.
Preprocessing the FEM/BDC. The whole preprocessing takes 5-20 minutes. Please wait...
If the APP prompts the device to be abnormal or loses connection, please do not do anything and wait patiently for 20 minutes. The device will automatically complete the remaining operations to ensure the module is normal.
Successful function execution.
Reset mileage >> OK
Make sure:
Finish FEM/BDC initial programming process.
OK >> YES
Reset FEM/BDC mileage succeeded.
Step3. Restore To the Original Version
Restore >> Backup coding data >> OK
Confirm the mileage has been reset to 0.
Continue >> Save coding data
Backup coding data finished.
Program the FEM/BDC system >> Method 2: DCAN programming >> OK >> Continue >> Continue
Since the BDC module version restoration is done on the desktop platform, select Method 2: DCAN programming.
Find the original version and select it >> OK >> Continue
Programming FLASH data is finished.
Write coding data >> OK >> Continue >> Continue >> Select coding data >> Continue
Write coding data and finish.
Process the mileage instrument, after modifying the mileage reading on the instrument, reinstall the BDC and the instrument in the vehicle, and confirm if the mileage has been successfully repaired.
