How to Copy an NXP29XX Smart Key
The following example shows how to copy an NXP29XX chip key using a universal key.
1. Identify the Original Key
① Place the original car key on the YANHUA Smart Key Reader and press T to identify its information. Repeat the same process with a universal key.
② Remove the original key shell, check the chip PINs, and locate Pin 1. Select a magnetic pillar with a screw, secure it away from the chip, tighten it, and place the key on the reader.
2. Read Original Key Data
① Align chip Pin 1 with the left-front position and fit the remaining magnetic pillars onto the key PCB.
② Connect the QNF32 test socket to the reader, aligning its dot with chip Pin 1.
③ Move the swing arm above the socket cylinder. Adjust the telescopic pressure rod to align with the cylinder, then pull it down and rotate it 90° to secure the socket.
④ Check the level bubble and fine-tune the position until it is centered.
⑤ Press R to read data from the original working key. The screen will indicate successful reading.
⑥ Switch to the universal key or another original key for data writing, and confirm the chip Pin 1 position.
3. Write Data to the Universal Key
① Secure the universal key with magnetic pillars, align chip Pin 1 with the left-front position, and install the test socket.
② Press W to write the original key data. The screen will indicate successful writing.
③ Place the universal key into the LF adapter and press T to identify its ID.
④ Confirm that the new key ID matches the original working key ID.
Key copying is complete.
